Runner bean seeds
« on: October 28, 2019, 13:58 »
Hi

End of our first year growing our own .

We were halfway through taking our beans down when it occured to us we could save some of the seeds ..... Several of the bean pods were brown so we popped them and took the new bean seeds out ..

But on reading we have discovered we should have left them in their pods ...  Will it make much of a difference ?

Thanks for any help

I think the earlier post you're referring to was to cover the possibility of the seeds not being quite ready at the time of harvesting. Yours sound fine to me.  ;)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!
