My F300 (no gears) started cutting out after about 10 mins a couple of years and fortunately I was offered that same week an F360 (1st, 2nd & reverse) which I snapped up.
The F300 has now sat at home doing nothing (getting in the way) and is going the same way (nowhere) as my pervious rotavator (Norlett) which has been blocking my allotment shed for almost 10 years.
Does it sound like a simple problem to fix sell/keep a spare, does it have some value as it is, or should it go for scrap?
Any ideas please.

could be simple. try looking at the fuel cap. if it don't let air in, it won't let petrol out. does your model have a low oil level cut out? might be a dodgy switch, or , worse case, could be a dodgy coil. that's pretty unlikely, in my experience, but possible.
did you put in a new spark plug?
have another look at it, if you can get it going, it would be worth a few pints on fleabay. :D

I checked out all the simple solutions, but as it only cost my me about £15 a year in capital/running costs I thought I'd got my moneys worth out of it, and I'd rather someone else had the hassle/joy of sorting it out whilst I got on with other things, even if it was taken away by someone who would find it useful for spares. (I'd rather be spending my time going fishing).

I wish I was closer :?

Forgot to mention (has been a couple of years) that after stalling it would not re-start for at least 30 mins if that helps identify the fault.

Sounds like fuel cap not breathing or capacitor. try running it without fuel cap for a while

Thanks, I'll give it another go.
