Title: Landmaster Rotovator
Post by: Strawberry on April 09, 2010, 21:37
Hi All,

I have an opportunity to buy a landmaster rotovator, I don't at this stage know anything about it, a part from apparently it starts reliably and the guy wants £70 for it, pictures below.

I am looking to use it on allotment, does anyone know anything about the above piece of machinery?

Thanks in advance

I bought one of these last year, same price too!
My use for it is mainly "hoeing" between the rows, it being narrower than the normal tiller

Mines not got the original engine, so I can't comment on that, but otherwise, it suits my purpose well, theres also quite a range of attachments for them, if your lucky enough to locate any, including, if I remember rightly, a cable driven hedge trimmer!

Looking at your pictures, yours appears to be missing the "cowling".......or praps mines a slightly different model......the cowling does deflect a lot of dirt/dust away from the engine area
