OH and I were ignoring the chickens raising hell in the back garden the other day.  They had been quiet for hours but heard his truck pulling onto the drive and went mad - he usually gets home before me and swears he doesn't rush out there with treats every night  

Alphie and his girls were on the loose and the backdoor was open.  The little swine stuck his head through the door to cock-a-doodle me just to press the point home. I was putting something in the oven at the time and nearly ended up in there with it
