I made some cordial last year (very sucessful) but it was a bit liquid for my liking; I was wondering if any of you actually reduce the finished article to make it more "syrupy" and whether you had found this sucessful or if it spoils the fresh flavour of the homemade stuff.

Hi Fibilou , we've recently made a few bottles and the consistency was fine and I noted the quantities of sugar and water are similar ie. 3kg sugar to 3l water , so I suspect the ratios of one to the other determine the syrupyness ( new word! ).
