Title: Tinned Fruit
Post by: mrs bouquet on January 06, 2020, 21:55
Do any of you use this.    I do, especially in the winter.  I like and eat a lot of fruit, so I buy lots of tins in their own juice and use them.  It is nice to have peaches, apricots, pineapple, fruit salad, etc always available in the cupboard to have for a pud, and it is probably canned whilst very fresh and not kept in alien conditions like fresh fruit.    Mrs Bouquet.  PS:   You can use it to cook with as well.   :D

My fruit salad still has those cherries in.  When I make a trifle and use a tin into it, I save the cherries and put them on top with other decoration.    Mrs B

My beloved lot love pineapple in juice, added to white sauce with pork or chicken.
