Garlic Rust and copper wire update?
« on: February 28, 2019, 19:26 »
Hello new to forum so I hope I am doing this correctly. I read something on one of your forums from 2014 about a discussion as to whether inserting a piece of copper wire into garlic plant will prevent rust.  Has anyone actually tried this? If so, was it successful?  I initially heard about this method via information from The Garlic Farm. However when I contacted them for more information I was told that they had no information about anyone using this method.

I can't imagine any commercial grower  inserting thousands of bits of wire into their plants and then having to remove them before sale!
