back from hols today,have given the chickens a huge clean out(had been looked after by my neighbours,who did a great job) and decided that today was the day.
have intergrated the chicks-now 10weeks and bigger than their mum-with the rest of the chickens.we had got the visciuos chicken a new home and so far so good.the chicks have a space to hide in should things get rough and i,m watching closely.be interesting to see how we get on tonight.if all goes well then i can keep any that are girls ,yippee and heres hoping!!!!!!!!
any good tips on whats a girl thing and whats a boy???except for the cockadoodling of course.cant post pic cause something wrong with up loading,drat

so far so good.having minor skirmishes but nothing to drastic.milly their mum have left them to go and sleep in growups coop and layed an egg yesterday too!!!!!only problem is stopping greedy rhodies eating their growers mash!!!!
