Problem with Leaves on Apple Tree
« on: August 08, 2008, 21:24 »
Hi All,

Have a new allotment with an apple tree.  There are some decent size apples but many of the leaves show sings of some disease.  have not been able to find anything on tinternet but can you see form, attached picture.

looks like there are lots of little tracks burrowed through the "top" side of the leaf

any ideas?

Sorry not sure how to post an image.

Hi Braders
Take a look at this LINK on how to post a pic.

Sounds like some kind of leaf miner, but without a pic it's only guess work.  :)   ( probably guess work with a pic too     )

Thanks for the advice.  Advice is to remove all leaves with damage, that will leave about 2 leaves!

Should I go for it and take them all off?
