Hi, does anyone know where i can get hold of a drive belt for a
Wolseley merry tiller major ?

part number MT3371 i think. how old is the machine? what is its serial number? often there is a slight change in the design (like cars , a 05 model may have upgrades to a 02 model) so the part number could be different. :wink:

Model AC3480 MAJOR
SERIAL 366

It has a Honda engine which im guessing is a transplant?

none of my contacts have the mentioned belt. i think the only way i could get one would be if you knew the size of your belt. is it still in one piece?. most mower workshops have a belt measurer, so they may well be able to match it up to a currently used belt, but of course they are going to need your belt to be in a reasonable condition.
thats a top tip for all our friends in allotment land. get your belts measured, cos when they fall to bits, the likelyhood of getting an original part for all our antique equiptment is virtually nill nowadays, so part numbers are not a lot of use on the older stuff. :cry:
