Title: I need POL hens in or Near Manchester
Post by: Sparr0wman on March 08, 2009, 17:40: As the subject says, i don't know if this will be an easy task or not but after reading everything i can and getting my coop/ run ready. I need Chickens.
I don't want to cause too much stress on the poor things so would like to get them from as near as possible. they will be travelling in cardboard boxes, with air holes of course.
Can anyone recommend somebody. or is it just a case of finding an advert on the web?

Post by: Sparr0wman on March 08, 2009, 19:20: i have looked at the suppliers on here, but nearest is blackpool. 1 hour away, i would like it nearer. I did see a sign on a farm in rochdale, but as i have nobody to ask for advice i have ignored it.

He's been there as long as I can remember so no fly by night merchant.

One had Mycoplasma within the first weeks. and since then both birds i got from him have suffered :(. they have just finished there course of baytrill. This was my first purchase of hens and was a little wet behin :wub:d the ears. nice guy though , and even nicer chooks if you want his number i can search it out for you. just pm me.
