Yes, I still have fond memories of two AEC Matadors.

In 1947 (the bad Winter) we had our road blocked by snow drifts about 3 to 4 ft deep. A local (Cambridge) firm had a depot at Bourn Airfield where they repaired Government vehicles. They put two drivers on to batter their way through to Cambridge with a buck type lorry and a tanker type lorry (Matadors). They opened up the road, I got a lift to work in the buck lorry. After the road was opened, the tanker was stationed at the top of Madingley Hill to winch lorries and buses up the hill with it's winch. They kept the road open all the time the snow was a problem.

"Mater" is an old beaten up tow truck from Disney Pixars animated film "Cars".

I won't try & find a non-copyright picture, as we're talking Disney, but here's a link..........
