Allotment Specific Shed

I am thinking of designing an allotment specific shed.

What features would you like to see in such a shed?

:nowink:   i would like it to contain

- an inpbuilt potting basin
- a shelf specifically built to dry onions and garlic made of mesh at the bottom
- power provided by a 12 volt batters and a solar pannel providing a led light as needed
 - a stove to make T :)
- an inbuilt staging area

Good suggestions there.

I was thinking for the basic structure that it should be sturdier than a normal garden shed and have a proper door and windows that make it a lot more difficult to break into.

You can get beefier sheds, which i dare say you could source locall,y or make your own, in which time ........ :D

I  was on the same wavelength as JB.  i was thinking cooker, potting bench, window ledges to perch seed trays on, ledges, shelves.
the important stuff.  I have a piece of worktop in the corner of my shed to brew up and cook

I bought a billyOh basic shed with no windows, reinforced the door frame by putting in a worktop half way up and shelves above. I inherited an old bookshelf unit from work for the other side. There is a gas stove in there but I always take a flask or cold drinks, and I don't have time for lazing around in the shed there is always something to do.

Where as My brother in law now has two sheds, one for him and the other is a T&P shed

Some brackets for storing canes, and hooks for tools.
