I've just been to check up on my broody Ghertie and my new mum Mariella, only to find Mariella sitting on top of the food box with a blooming comb and puffy eyes and Ghertie sitting on the babies!! I've now given Ghertie 3 babies to look after leaving Mariella with 4. Is this the right thing to have done? Has anyone experienced this? Ghertie has been sitting on eggs unsuccessfuly for a month. I guess she got jelous?
I've now moved the eggs from underneath Ghertie. They have been sat on for a month and nothings in them. How shall I dispose of them?
