Cucumber leaves yellowing
« on: May 15, 2014, 21:09 »
It seems to be one thing after another at the moment, not a good year at all,so far.
My cucumbers leaves are turning yellow on the edges mainly. Is this Mosaic Virus is there anything I can give them or are they for the burny burny bin.

Are they in a greenhouse, or indoors?

At that size I'd get them potted up into their final positions, that should sort things. I don't think it's mosaic virus.

They are in a shaded greenhouse with doors and vents open during the day Mum.
I will pot them up today and keep my fingers crossed.

is your greenhouse heated over night? if not i would say the swing from hi daytime temps to low overnight temps is not helping. my toms and cucs are suffering from this.

also prob running out of nutrients from the compost, pot on into large pots maybe add a bit of BFB to the compost.

So it could be the colder temps in the night? I have others that are just growing their second leaves but they are a different variety. Think I might pop a few more seeds in pots just in case too

Thanks everyone  :D
