That's brilliant as we are looking for some Grape Vines. They are normally not that cheap.

I quite fancy some gooseberries and blueberries....I'd never get to cook anything with them as I'd just stand and nom them straight from the plant  :D

I bought some fruit bushes from them last autumn and they were very small. Wasn't sure they woudl even make it through the winter tbh

Have put on a lot of growth this season though and are lookig healthy. Tay berries and especially good.

Hoping for fruit next season... well worth the price  :D

I think for that price they're worth taking a chance, I know in our branch the staff don't really know much about looking after the bedding plants when they come in so it's best to get them as soon as they arrive and they've not been sat under hot lights for a few days.

I've just mentioned them to my Mum so I reckon my Uncle might be getting a fig in a ceramic pot and some wine for his birthday!

Fingers crossed for your fruit Sunshine  :)

The ones in our shop were going to grow into huge trees so I passed on these, though they were a good price and looked healthy

Thanks for the head-up, PurplePixie.....

.... looks like I'm going into town on Thursday  :D

My shopping list will be: Tayberry, Loganberry, Gojiberry, Fig, Grape, Red Gooseberry ... oooh, and looking further down the page pickling vinegar at £1/litre looks good, too!

Thanks for the heads up - hope my local Aldi will have them as it's very small.  I'll be looking out for tayberries and loganberries to supplement my few struggling autumn raspberries on my plot.  Can't wait till Thursday.

Visited two stores with both having some types and none of the others. Bought Grape in one and Kiwi Fruit in the other. It is right what Lockettplot has said.
It's dissapointing that the labels do not state which variety you have purchased :(

I managed to fly in earlier and picked up a red gooseberry and a blueberry. They only those left and some grapes and gojis. The ceramic pots are nice and I quite fancy the larger ones with some lavender in by the gate in the garden but I've spent far too much this week on bits and bobs already so I'm hoping they'll have some left next week.

They had lovely Clematis as well with lots of flowers and buds in really striking colours....hmmm, where can I put another trellis?
