Wyevale Sale
« on: July 19, 2011, 12:57 »
Lots of stuff reduced, just got a Miracle Grow planter, 50 litres of reduced peat compost for £2.99.

No 50p seed sale yet. There's a Garden Club members offer on seeds - half price until August 2nd, so you can bet if they have this sale, it won't be until after that.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Last week Brian got a nice long handled Fiskars lopper for £5.99.  The label said reduced to £10, which came up on the till as £7 with 20% off!  And I got my Fiskars pruners for £4.80, not such a good deal, but they are very good!

There's quite a few things reduced, my best buy from them of late, as I've mentioned before, was the stainless steel Joseph Bentley long handled trowel, down from £15 to £5 (round terms),  but this is back up again.

I looked at those Dave, as you had mentioned them before, but they weren't as cheap as £5.

It's not often Brian will suggest going down to Wyevale, or Crowland Garden Centre I think its called now, but we did go last week.

It was a previous sale. I did post when it was on and it was on for quite a time.

So hard luck and you're not borrowing mine!  :tongue2:

I bought a Burgon and Ball stainless steel hand hoe for £5 yesterday. It was one of four in the sale section but, in the regular tools section, there were at least twenty more still at the usual price of £9.99. I checked the bar codes and they were the same. Strange. ???
