A bit praise for ASDA!

Just returned from ASDA with around 50, yeah, 50!!! Pots they keep their cut flowers in FOR NOWT!  :D

Last year, my dad paid for his from a different supermarket (yellow - begins with M).  :(

I can finish getting the rest of my toms' and cucs' in now......  :happy:

They would have been put back on the truck this afternoon, to back to the RDC for 'recycling' probably.

When I worked at a local petrol station the flower people didn't want them back so we used to skip them.

I have purchased them from you know where in the past but their group sizes vary so always do a quick count, it's meant to be 10 for 99p yet some had as many as 17 in.

I'll let you know if I get any

 When I went into  our local asda they said that they had to return all their flowerpots .
 
 I now get mine from our co op.

I popped into my local Asda after seeing this post, they had a load, but would only let me have 2!
I'll go back to getting them from the one beginning with M (who now seem to also be giving them away, rather than charging like they did last year)

Try Homebase. They often have loads of plastic plant containers to give away for free, the kind that hold flower pots.  I have used these for potting things on.

our local (family owned) garden centre let us take the pot trays, so long as you put a donation in the help for heroes collection tin.. something that I don't mind doing at all :)

Didnt get to asda but our local co-op petrol station throw them away so were very happy to give away the 30 they had sat in a pile. Now i have 28 dwarf french beans in new homes. Thats a few gone, what next can i stick in them.
