Title: Winter bedding
Post by: Jamie Butterworth on July 21, 2010, 07:31
At Mr.Fothergills at the moment they are offering 150 miniplugs for 'fizzy rasberry' pansies for only £5.  You dont even have to include anything else in the order if you dont want, ill try and post a link later today :)

I would try working out how much each individual pansy is to show how cheap they are but its too early in the morning for me

That's 3 pence each Jamie.  ;) Out of interest, if its not raining too heavily today when I go home (21st July), I'll try and get a chance to take a photo of the winter flowering pansies I bought at the back end of last summer for over last winter   . These couple of tiny things that germinated out of the seeds I bought then sat cowering in the corner of a hanging basket all winter, got bunged into a corner of a flowering bed when I needed the baskets in the spring, and you should see them now!  ::)

I like the idea of that to brighten up the plot over winter. Might get myself a tray of the little darlings.
