Hello everyone,
I have acquired two young birds who have been used to totally free range. I have them confined at the moment but hope to have them wondering around the garden when their wings have been clipped.
They are both laying and seem happy and fit, but one has pale blue marks under the eye, which look like plant aphids. Is this some sort of mite or beginnings of feathers?
 I plan to send a picture if anyone recognises the problem.

One of my bantams has a patch of beautiful blue on her cheeks so it could be the start of those feathers coming through.

Thanks to themagicaltoad1 for the hopeful message.   I am assuming that is all it is - new feathers coming through.
The birds are still too jumpy to examine them closely, but I'm working on the training!
