Slugs, those pesky critters...

No sign of slugs on the allotment... I imagine its just a matter of time though! Should I start with pellets etc now, ie does it work to 'prevent' slugs, or do I wait until I see some?

And what do I do with the corpses?

I have a scaffold board which I stand on to avoid soil compaction. If it has been left on the soil for a couple of days I have noticed a few small slugs attached when I lift it up.

Yes, they are there and waiting for their gourmay dinner!!!!!
