Hi there. I have Battery Hens and I'm running out of feed. Can someone please tell me where I can get sacks of Layers pellets in Liverpool ? Need them asap please. Many Thanks  :tongue2:

Pets at home sell layer pellets now ... try there the pellets are a pretty good brand. :lol:

I thought ex-batts had to be fed ex-bat crumbs?

Ex batts can be feed on either layer pellets or mash. 

Ex Batt layer pellets/mash are made for older chickens not just exbatts.

Where in Liverpool are you?  Area wise.
Try a Feed Merchant or a horse feed store.

They do exist.

When I started keeping ex batts, there was no such thing as ex batt pellets.  They eat the same as the other girls

                 I buy mine from the allotmont shop in Litherland/Seaforth
£6.50 for 20 kilo's
It is only open for a couple of hours Wed Sat Sun

Where exactly in Liverpool are you?

I could pick some up for you if you like.
