Already tried that one MoS even the "extra spicy" version, I have grumpy or a least very bored taste buds lately. I'll keep trying as I'd like to add another none processed quick meat other than chicken.
Have you considered brining? It takes time but not effort - salt, sugar if you want but not vital if you don't, any flavourings you want and then turn the tap on.

Tonight is curry leftovers from Saturday that have been nicely maturing in the fridge. I might buy some chicken meat to cook and put in the dhal if I get time. It is going to be curry and naan tonight, so a simpler meal that may need a bit of something to add some zap
