The Answer was Kings of Leon.
cheers JG. We figured it out about 5 mins after I posted, only just got round to thank you guys. We over thought it  my first thought was kings of leon but then went into overdrive.

Much as I try I can rarely figure out criptic crossword clues  , a previous neighbour was able to do one of the broadsheet criptics every day.  Saw a clue a while back ' Final court decision' .  4, 3 , 3 , 5.
