My Chocolate Orpingtons
« on: June 11, 2011, 13:02 »
Just wanted to say that I finally have my chicks and I'm entranced already!!!
The run isn't quite finished yet so they spent the night in their coop in the garage and so far today have been on our terrace whilst work commences. I can't move away from them.

They're 8-10 weeks and hopefully all girls, don't know what I'll do if we have a cock and they've been eating out of my hand  :D

So, just wanted to say to likeminded people rather than bore my friends, just soooo giddy

They were a fiver each!! From a lady near me who's moving and has had enough of chicken keeping after 20 odd years, unfortunately we're too far away from you  :(  They're LF and I'm hoping all girls. She had some lovely lemon millefleur sablepoots too

Ok, well I presume you use Thomas Irving for your feed etc, they have an advertising board with several breeders on it. (is that allowed?)
