Well,,,,  WE have had deep snow, floods of thawing - 15C frozen solid, birds in moult, gale force wind and driving rain, today is only a -3C and my flock of 10 birds gave me ten eggs       
      THey have kept me in eggs throughout the worst weather Ive known, and kept me smiling every time I went down to them. What a great hobby !!!!

      Oh, an my batty girls gave me two a day every day 

 OH BLISS Im so easily pleased

mine have just started to lay again im getting between 3 and 5 a day from 8 girls..

Nope not a stich!!!  I think the early cold weather has confused them!!!

Caught one of mine sitting in the nest box the other day but not an egg in sight so far    Think she was just keeping out the cold

I cant give any tips Im afraid  as  mine get nothing other than a warm mash fed if its really cold, and the odd treat in the afternoon. Perhaps its because I talk to them and laugh loudley at thier antics
