 :)Hi everyone just to let you know we did a bit of juggling this morning, we let the new girls into the big run and the old girls had the coop to themselves for a hour stress free and all layed an egg each back to normal service! Thinking of putting a new level into the coop so everyone has somewere to lay on their own if they want a put the old nest box in the run for outdoor laying! Does anyone think this is a bad idea? Please feel free to offer advice thanks Kim and Mark

definitely the thing with the inside the coop - i would be a bit reluctant to put a box outside, because if they think it's okay to lay outside, you'll be hunting for eggs under bushes, the car, in that cranny right beside the compost bin that only they can get in, under that really tall patch of nettles, etc....
others may disagree, though, so keep your eyes peeled!
