I would like some bantams but i dont know a great deal about them i would like a breed that lays well all year and lays the most eggs and for the breed to be hardy, any suggestions?

I can recommend light sussex bantams - they are smart, hardy, and lay well.  Although my three have only produced one egg between them since I got them in September  :roll: , but thats through no fault of their own (too young and mum duties).

There are two sorts of bantams.

There are bantams that are the smaller version of existing large breeds and then there are whats known as true bantams. These are breeds that have never had a larger counterpart.
