Enterprising for oldies though 

12,000 eggs and a mark up of 90p per dozen - what were they feeding those chickens that cost £900     

Very annoying if you had bought them though, as people who search out free-range sold at the gate eggs, generally won't touch battery eggs.  Surprising people didn't notice the difference.  Home laid eggs from happy hens are a world apart

Yes I heard that the other day. They may have thought they were attending to their customers by continuing a supply of eggs, but I can't believe the bloke thought he could get away with  trying to rub the lion mark off the bought eggs. 

Not a job I would like to have to do.
