... woohoo ... for the first time in three seasons I have pea pods ... so technically I have pea pods and not peas, but even so.

I have pea pods ... now some smart alec is going to come along and tell me they're already picking more peas than they know what to do with ...

I have flowers on my earlies so will soon have pods. Have picked my first little gem today and second lot of strawberries (about 8 total so far!!)

No danger here Wellies,Sugar snap peas only for the last few days and most have been gobbled by aneagle eyed child though a handful made it into a salad.It`s already looking more promising than last year though and the coming wet weather will help keep them coming.

I got peas too! Only a few and I tasted them last night..couldnt resist any more so picked 3 pods
I only did it to test for the dreaded pea moth ahem (so far phew) and they tasted delicious!
Shame Ive only got them in containers, Id have many more plants if i had a lottie

Can you guess they are my fave food?

Well done, Wellies! I've got flowers all over my sugar snap Deliketts, and one flower so far on the Aldermans - the others are a bit new yet to be doing anything.

I've had two french beans, though

And there's a flower on one of the runners... Still eating last year's :shock:

Well done. I've got one peapod on one of the only two surviving plants tat the slugs left me. I'm thinking of saving it for a special occasion
