Im going to dig the leaves into the lower layer so they are well mixed, rather than leave them as a layer, should let the snakes get in and munch them



(my little boy Sam thinks worms are snakes :D )

I've just rung our allotment officer asking about leaf deliveries and he says they don't do it because of contamination - needles etc. I suppose he has a point. I'm still thinking of going into the leisure centre grounds next to our site and bagging a few myself.
