I'm trying it this year. The seedlings are tiny though. Hope they get a bit bigger before I pot them on.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

i love celeriac chips .ive grown it and the giant prague one was best  but globus was tastier. plant em out in a deep dug bed with loads rotted manure in  with a bit of lime plant em out in may  put em 18 inch aprt with the litle bulb bits just on the surface nip off any side shots that come  and dont let em dry out if ya wanna leave em to store do it in the ground shove a heap straw over em  if frost is about later in the eyar chuck the earth over em  they dont need sweetening up with it unlike parsnips

Don't worry noshed, I successfully grew some last year and repeating same again this year. Seedlings are very tiny when they come up.

no i lime all the plots every 3 yrs in rotation but if you already lime your plot dont bother again  :wink:
