my white hydrangea has started to turn pink any ideas how to get it back to pristine any help will be very much appreciated.

have all the flowers gone pink, or do they open white but turn pink as the flower ages

My white ones have gone pink  this year after opening white.  So its not just you.

I put it down to the weather, but thats just because i dont know any other reason.

Just had a thought while typing this, are yours in pots, mine are and i haven't fed mine this year so it might just be a sign of starvation.

The colour of the hydragea is dependent on what the PH of the soil is, i seem to remeber that for the white flowers you need a slightly acidic soil, and for pink flowers you need a alkaline soil, so potentially, your soil has begun to change PH, have you added some lime to it or nearby?

The white ones can turn pink at the edges as the flower ages, even if the ph is correct.
They need to be kept quite shaded from strong sun, I think

Mine are in the same spot as they've been for 3years and this is the first year they've shown any pink.

I think to get pure white flowers it has to be a named white plant.  Some so called ' whites ' are cuttings from very very pale pink stock.  Mine were named plants .

I recon its to do with not feeding mine this year and the plants are showing signs of stress but its only a guess really.
