Hi all
This is me first growing season and the plot has a lot of work ahead to get ready for spring. I know that I have to clear the land first and dig over. I have a plan written down of what I think should go where.

The first things I would like to grow is potatoes carrots and brussel sprouts.  Working on a farm and being big in the potatoes I know that piling manure on potato ground you can never have enough but is it the same for carrots and sprout land. Or do I need to put something else on?

Any answers would be received with a lot of thanks being a novice

I'm no expert but no manure on carrot land as it makes them fork... sprouts probably OK but lime may be helpful too

Certainly no manure for carrots.

Yes to manure for spuds.

Yes to lime for brassicas, but don't manure at the same time, they react.
