Time for Tea
« on: September 30, 2016, 14:16 »
I know my priorities, so when I started on my allotment one of the first things I did was to make myself a stove, based on the "Rocket Stove" idea.

I started with a bit of zinc left over from a window ledge protection I no longer needed, and an old 2.5 litre paint pot

cut and bashed a bit

marked up and cut the paint can

Then put the stove flue in, sitting on shingle

A raised floor is next

And test!

Now on the boil for real, only needs a small handful of kindling to boil a cup

Cheers!

(and yes, I always drink tea without milk or sugar)

Blimey!  :D

Make sure there's no risk of paint going up in flames
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
