peaches
« on: October 16, 2016, 14:33 »
A few years ago I was given a young peach tree by an old boy on the allotment next to mine. The first fruiting year I had seventeen peaches. Since then I have only ever had half a dozen at best. There is an abundance of blossom which I pollonate with a small paint brush and loads set, they get to the size of a large pea then fall off.  Sadly my old friend is no longer here. Can anyone help?

I don't have any experience with peaches but do you protect from the frost? If not I wonder if that could be the issue.
