My local Wyevale (Garden Centre Group) currently has an offer on JAB multi-purpose compost with added John Innes for Garden Club members.

The bags are 25 litres with 40% extra free = 35 litres. Normally £4.49 each, 5 for £15.

I've not done the math, but the sign says it works out at 9p a litre.

Good price, but don't think Brian would take me all the way to our nearest Wyevale.    :( :(

If your a member of the gardening club (free to join) you can get 6 bags of bowers multi for £20.
Again they're normally £4.99 each.

Not a bad deal, but still works out MUCH cheaper (about 5p per liter) if you take advantage of the 3 for 2 Morisons offer on at the moment! The compost from Morrisons is also "organic", which is a bonus (for me anyway) since organic compost is getting hard to find - at least in these parts!
