She was a right little madam and a pain in the butt at times but full of personality.  It's just not the same going out in the garden now. :(

She deteriorated at a shocking speed and I could see she had no more will to live.  I tried my best and she died quickly and humanely.

Just can't believe how much it has affected me.  :(  Thought I was well 'ard.
Cheese makes everything better.

They really get to you don't they?  I would never have thought that hens had such personalities.  Unfortunatley they go downhill so quickly, hiding illness until it is too late.  Big hugs.

So very sorry to hear your sad story. I have only had my girls for aweek and am so very fond of them and get very nervous when I realise what can happen to them.
