Another confused wormer!
« on: March 17, 2011, 13:26 »
Following the instructions from Hillfooter on here, I have mixed up 4kg of food with 2 scoops of 1% formula.  I went roughly on the basis as Hillfooters suggested, of 900grms of food per bird per week.

However I think my girls may be going for the 'waif' look this summer as 5 days in I am not sure they are going to get through that much food.

I promise I have not given them any treats and much to their disgust they have not been free ranging in the garden either.

So...to my question...do I need to ditch any leftover food after Sunday?

Thanks
Emma

It should keep for three months in an airtight container for when you need to worm again :) - this is dependent, of course, on the BB date on the pellets used :)

the product is not available on theat website AL, however for anybody interested here is a link to Marriages themselves and they should be able to point you in the right direction for a local stockist:-

as for Hillfooters advice if your birds eat all of the mix up then just mix some more up (like people different chickens eat different amounts)
Staffies are softer than you think.
