« on: January 02, 2010, 12:56 »
my devon rex just found a mug of turkey fat i had put outside to cool down
 and forgotten about
his entire head is now covered with it as he has scoffed nearly the entire mug (thankfully a little mug only)

he looks like he has been at a pot of hair gel, what a silly puss

just hoping it stays down
just keep breathing................

Silly cat!  One of my mum's cats fell in a roasting tin of goose fat one Christmas.  It took him all day to lick it all off :)

One of our dogs once stole a half pound block of butter and ate it complete with most of the wrapper. The outcome was not a pretty sight the following morning so got OH to clean it up as it was he that left the butter out

I can't have butter in a butter dish on the side due to the fact that Caesar will keep knocking it until it falls on the floor so he can eat it - and he then goes to my bedroom to be sick  That's such a funny image of a cat with its head smothered in the fat (probably with a kitty look of "what, I haven't done anything"  ??? ); the silly puss tat  :tongue2: :D

the turkey fat made a, ............ahem..........explosive exit about 5pm - fortunately we had a litter tray in the kitchen for our elderley cat (more about that on last few days topic  :(  ) and he managed to get some of it in there   and on the  lino flooring too - if it had been on the carpet it would have been wrecked

he reeks of turkey fat tho..............  dont think he will be doing that again for a while, he didnt look too happy when i found him in the litter tray

he is one greasy cat..........what a silly boy
