I hate to ask a tupid question.... but I probably am going to.
I just took down my bean frame and there were alot of beans still on it, they are obviously no good as runner beans.
My son had a lovely time taking the beans out of the pods because I feel they must be edible. We filled a 2 lt jug with them. so what can I do with them/? do I need to dry them out.  do they need to be skinned before using?
Any recipe ideas?

I cannot keep them to plant as they were f1 stringless.

There is no need to skin them (or at least we don't)! Freeze them in small bags and add them to stews etc. You don't need to blanch them as long as what they are used for involves slow cooking like a stew/casserole and they have plenty of time to cook.
