How should seeds be stored once the packet has been opened. I keep the seeds and packets for referral at the allotment in a plastic food container...but was wondering if there is an ideal way.

I keep mine in an airtight, dark tin, in a cool dry place. (Our pantry). I tightly wrap them up in the little foil packet.

Hi.  They're best kept in a dark cool place where the temperature and humidity doesn't fluctuate.  In a container in the bottom of the fridge is ideal.  Hope this helps and they all germinate for you.

I used to keep mine in a Tupperware box in the fridge but can't any longer cos of being a B & B  :roll:  So still keeping them in a Tupper but in a dark cupboard where it's cool but I doubt they'll last as long. I am a stickler for taping the packets back up once opened, both the inner and outer packets.  I keep magic tape in those chunky black dispensers in the kitchen, greenhouse and lotty shed so I have some tape always handy. I am the most disorganised person on the planet but for this one thing
