Hi does anyone know if I could keep a turkey to run with my ducks in the garden? Would it be ok to go in the duck house at night? Thanks

Turkeys can carry blackhead, I don't know if this would pass to ducks

Turkeys are more susceptible to blackhead than chickens, so its the other way round.  We had to keep our turkeys away from our chickens just in case.

But I don't know about ducks.  the only thing that I would say is feeding wise, both turkeys and ducks are greedy feeders, they require different nutrients, and if the turkey doesn't get on with the ducks, it will be very lonely.  3 turkeys would be a better number, especially if you buy them young.  Turkeys need more looking after when tiny than chickens or ducks do.
