Last night was HM chilli con carne for Husband, kids had meatballs in gravy with mashed potatoes.

I am convinced that it is Friday so they are having slow cooked leg of lamb with garlic and rosemary. Should be Sunday but things being what they are why not today. Should be plenty for Sunday as well.

Today I thought I’d try out one of Jamie Oliver’s recipes. I must say it turned out well.

This lot had fix pie mix and mussels in a thick parsley sauce with macaroni shells and broccoli. There was no cheese at the shop  :( or it'd be a cheese sauce. Followed by still warm banana bread.

My family tradition was to have the Grand parents over for Easter dinner but we can't now (why don't we have a crying emoji?). So Husband ding-dong-ditched dinner over the hedge to them. Make your own Easter duck breasts dinner. Also some banana bread.

Had a request for chip cobs, but as I was cooking ham it was up to the individual to make their own chip cobs from the ham, oven chips, salad & pickles that was on offer lol. 3 of the 6 chose to have fried eggs added to their plates  oh & freshly home baked cobs

Snowdrops, I take it a cob is a roll? In London and the SE a cob is a round loaf - like a cottage loaf without its top layer  :D
