Definatly sets as you get 4-5 shallots per bulb sown but with only 1 per seed.

I usually get about 10 to  a bulb on mine Annie!

And I bought some Paris silverskin onions on Ebay, ought 3 packs and when they arrived, they'd given me a packet of sweet pea seeds as a bonus!

I love silverskin pickled onions.

But like the others I prefer shallots for my picklings and I grow them from sets, which are still in the shops I think
