First Egg :-)

OO how exciting my first egg, well not mine the chickens but you know what I mean.

How odd she lost a baby yesterday suddenly, he just died and today she laid an egg. She has made a nest under the holly tree and was sitting on it. We have no cockerel so its not fertile, do you think she was trying to make up for the lost one?
