Do Orpingtons need to be keeped out of the rain?  It says on the net there feathers soak up water so must be put away in the rain, is this true?

i never put mine away, They have a covered run if they want to get out of the rain.

I have read the same thing in quite a few books. We made a covered run for our Orpingtons too.
