Please count me in.  Mine won't win any "Pretty" contest. In truth it's as ugly as sin! but size may give it a chance!

I'll add you to the list, but you have to have a post count of 50 by the end of October (forum rules ;))

No 1 is coming on rather nicely ;) Still yellow and still growing. It's nearing Space Hopper Size at a guess
No 2 Is about Basket Ball size :)

What does one do with a large pumpkin? I grow the small ones (so I won't be taking part) they are great microwaved as an individual vegetable.

1. Its good fun just to grow them
2. Kids love them to cut up for Halloween.
3. Roast slices or make pumpkin soup.
4. You could try pumpkin pie with the rest.

I'm going to try pumpkin pie this year I think.  But first and foremost our daughter will be carving her "prize" pumpkin and she can't wait!!

My biggest is looking quite good, bigger than football size which my second biggest is.  I doubt it will win but I may as well enter!  If it's not too late of course!

I grow Atlantic Giant and my pumpkin is now at least the size of a beach ball and I am not able to lift it anymore. I water it every day with nettle and comfrey fertilizer and it feels like it gets bigger and bigger each day.

So if it is still possible I would like to enter the pumpkin competition as well.

Come back from hols and although the pumpkins are OK the plants are not very well, going brown.  They are probably as big as they will be - but I will keep trying!
