Last day of School Term and Covid
« on: July 23, 2021, 13:51 »
I feel so sad for my grandchildren, twins age 11 years.  2 days ago a child in their class was positive Covid and quite ill.   So children and parents are all in isolation now.  I do hope the child gets better soon.  But I do feel sorry for this class.  Today was their last day at their primary school,  so they have no chance now to say goodbye to their lovely teachers and friends.
It seems that whatever covid strain is about now it will get any age.   Take care,  Mrs Bouquet

Neighbours grandson in the same position.  He's missed out on saying goodbye to his old friends plus there were no taster days for his new school.

This pandemic will have long lasting effects for everyone and I can't help thinking we have a long way to go
