BTW, off topic - did you see the article in the Messenger about butchers closing?

Luckily, ours, Andersons in Cranbrook, is still going strong, so it'll probably be another mortage when I collect everything on Monday, but he is a great butcher - used to work in Hawkhurst!

We haven't had one in Ashford for years (one opened briefly the year before Covid, but didn't last long once the rent & rates went up again 
And they wonder why all the shops are leaving the town centre  - nobody with any sense on the council, obviously!! But then we knew that didn't we?
